Emerald City Comicon...and other updates.

Yes, it's been awhile since the last post. Been super busy with freelance projects that I can't post yet. Also been getting ready for another Emerald City Comicon. I'll be setting up again in Artist Alley with old and new prints to sell. This year I'll be sharing the table (A-14 to be exact) with local artist Memo Diaz. Memo will have a brand spanking new sketchbook that he's selling, so make sure you stop by our table to check out the goods. If you're new to Memo's work, make sure to check out his blog here. The Emereld City show looks to be another huge blow out with tons of great guests. Joseph Micahel Linser, who did the above image, will be in attendance, as well as a number of other talented cats. Check out the latest list here.

In between the freelance work, I've also been getting ready for some upcoming events that will be happening in and out of Seattle. Coming up first is another big group show at Gallery 1988. That show kicks off next month. It's called "Idiot Box". Check out their blog for some of the latest art for the show. I'll be posting my piece for it in the next few days.

There is also another Art Jam coming together next month. I'll be sending out the call for all the usual suspects for that as soon as I can. This will be the fourth one folks. Stay tuned for more details and check out the post for the last one to get a taste of what's to come.

Lastly, keep your eyes and ears open for the announcement for another Muppet Rawk. I'm looking into getting some prints done up for the piece from that show and will hopefully have those in time for Emerald City.

Anyway, yeah, that's a little of what's been brewing. All the above has turned me into a shut in that only leaves the house when I need food, or when I need to check the mail. Freelace is fun. Freelance is fun. Freelance is fun. (...cabin fever......setting .....in.......afro.....getting.....bigger....) At least you have the option of working in your PJ's when you want to. Tell me another job that lets you do that. I mean, besides being Hugh Hefner.

-I'm out.
