Robots on the Horizon

Sorry about the late heads up on this latest show. It was a hectic week ,last week, getting this latest piece done. There were also spaceships that some artists got to customize, and I'll have to get pics of the one I did and post it soon. I was painting up to the last minute before going out of town for my little sister's wedding(Congrats again Alicia!!!)and forgot to get shots of that.

This latest piece is for a local, sci-fi group show, at a new boutique/gallery up on Phinney Ridge called Tasty. The show is up until July 7th, so if you're in the area, check it out.

Tittle: Robots on the Horizon
Size: 6"x 22"
Medium: Acrylics on wood panel.

Anyway, here are some "in progress" shots for ya.

Besides the art show, Tasty has a lot of cool hand made knick knacks and toys. Totally worth the trip if you're into some cool, funky, handmade, collectible type stuff, so check it out!

Disturbance in the Force

During the weeks of frantic painting for the Upper Playground show last month, I managed to finish up this piece for a Star Wars group show. Hope Gallery & Tattoo is putting on their"Disturbance in the Force" group show this week.

There wasn't time to do a new piece for this show, but it gave me a chance to finish up this Rancor painting that I did at a Brushes Needles & Burnouts show a few years back.

It was weird to work on an old painting, only because the art side of my brain is in a different head space these days. Either way, stay tuned for a few more sci-fi related pieces that are for a local sci-fi group show next week. More to come............
